the suspended piano

The Suspended Piano is a piece of 25 mm plywood(soundboard) hung in the room from piano wire. It has had many shapes and sizes, different numbers of strings and rooms with different accoustics. It could be played by plunking, bowing or hitting strings with various objects. It produces a wide range of sounds through the movement of the soundboard, which in turn bends and stretches the strings.
